  3. creattion of doc_root when cronjob is created on centos 7

on creating a cronjob in ples the folder doc_root is created. This is needed for the cronjob in case a user deletes the folder this causes the cronjob to be not functional.
To prevent this it would be much better to use the normal cronjob behavior of centos 7

  4. Allow setting AUTOCLOSE for MS SQL databases on Plesk Panel for Windows

The AUTOCLOSE enabled is the root of the evil 9001 Fatal Error on MSSQL (it's so evil that MS dropped this param in SQL Server 2014).
All production sites in the world disables them, but it is default ON. Users may want to control this param from the Plesk GUI.

  5. Improve cron task for Watchdog component

Customer receives the following email about execution of the Watchdog cron task:
    From: (Cron Daemon) root@example.com
    Sent: Monday, June 18, 2018 1:00 AM
    To: jdoe@example.com
    Subject: Cron root@example.com /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/secur-check
    DEBUG [utilexec] [5b5560d293f82] Starting:
    rsecurcheck security
    2018-07-23 schedule
DEBUG [util_exec] [5b5560d293f82] Finished in 0.04981s, Error code: TRUE

From a customer point of view, it is not clear was the task executed or not.

For example replace the message "Error code: TRUE" to "Watchdog task was successfully executed"

  7. copy and move files start from current folder

The copy and move dialogs are slow to use because they always start from the root folder and require clicking down to the target folder. So a simple task like moving files into a sub folder is many clicks (slow).
If the dialog starts expanded to the current folder where the copy or move button was clicked, then it is a single click to a sub-folder or a quick scroll to the root. Much faster to use. thanks

  8. WordPress Toolkit support for Bedrock-powered WordPress instances

Bedrock is a modern WordPress stack that implements several improvements related to WordPress setups.

    Better folder structure
    Dependency management with Composer
Easy WordPress configuration with environment specific files
    Environment variables with Dotenv
Autoloader for mu-plugins (use regular plugins as mu-plugins)
Enhanced security (separated web root and secure passwords with wp-password-bcrypt)

More information on Bedrock can be found here: https://roots.io/bedrock/

Plesk's WordPress Toolkit cannot currently handle Bedrock-powered WordPress instances.

Because some of Bedrock improvements are considered to be current best practices and provide safer setups, it would be nice to see support for Bedrock-powered instances in WordPress Toolkit.

  9. prefill selected path when clicking 'Change branch and path' in git

When I click "Change branch and path" in git repositories to change branches the path defaults to the root of the site.
For sites where I previously pulled the repo in a subfolder the repository will now also be pulled to the root if I accidentally forget to change path.

  10. Add the possibility to customize the WordPress Toolkit Set to install WP in a custom directory

Add the possibility to customize the WordPress Toolkit Set to install WP in a custom directory (e.g., “/wp”) instead of installing it in the root folder (httpdocs)

Reason: The automatic WP installation performed via a WordPress Toolkit Set through a Hosting Plan would work fine if the customer’s current site is not built on WP or another php-based platform, but will fail and mess up their current site if their domain already contains a WP or php-based installation at the root level.

  11. Custom Email Server Help Tips

The settings for mail servers have a help tip in the email addresses management page, and in the users' Plesk Account pages.

If a Plesk server is set up strictly as a mail server, and has DNS handled remotely, the settings in the Help Tips can be incorrect.

Currently the tips only show the server as the root domain even if the mail server's actual DNS points (as an example) mail.domain.tld to the server, requiring the settings to include the subdomain.

If I add the domain as "subdomain.domain.tld" in settings, then the server tips are correct but the email addresses…

  12. Specify Node.js extension parameters programmatically

For automating Node.js setup it should be possible to set Node.js settings, like Document root , Application Startup File and variables without Plesk GUI.

  13. Allow the app pool in IIS modify permission for the httpdocs folder by default

Plesk should allow the app pool in IIS to have modify permissions for the httpdocs folder by default so that apps can be installed in the root directory without permission issues.

Currently users either have to install their app to domain.com/appname or the have to contact us so that we can manually give them modify permissions to the httpdocs folder.

  15. Web deployment instructions, password

It's not clear which password to use in web deploy (visual studio 2017) to IIS. As I understand I should use FTP account password. But which one? Which root folder should be at FTP user?
Please create a separate page for web deploy with instructions and settings export.

  16. Nginx directives file in home directory, for source control etc.

What about source control for additional nginx directives?

Additional nginx directives is kind of annoying from a source control perspective.

You can add all kinds of additional nginx directives in the Plesk interface for a site, but it won't be added to your git repository, if you have e.g. /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com as git root Why? Because the file modified by the Plesk interface is at /var/www/vhosts/system/mydomain.com/conf/vhost_nginx.conf - owned by root no less!

How about looking in e.g. /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/server.conf for some additional nginx directives? This would ensure it could be added to version control, if the repository root is there. And also…

  17. Additional Admin users should have the same permissions like "admin" on Plesk Mobile

When we access a Plesk server via Plesk Mobile app on iOS using an additional admin user, the only options available are "Domains" and "More"

Please make the same options available to root/admin user available to additional admins as well: Domains, Information, Events, Services, More.

  18. Ability to use admin credentials for Migration Manager

Using root password is not secure. Using SSH key is not comfortable.

Destination Plesk should connect to the Source Plesk with admin credentials and send a temporary SSH key to the Source server. This key can be than deleted after migration. Or for more security admin of Source server can generate a one time password only for migration.

  19. Track who changed the Plesk Administrator password

The idea is to know who and when changed the Plesk admin password. If it's from CLI, what user (usually root), or if it's on GUI, what IP.
That should be noted in the action log.
    Right now it isn't.

  20. Disable detaching the WordPress instance from the Toolkit permanently.

When the WordPress instance is detached from the WordPress Toolkit, the .wp-toolkit-ignore file appears in the Document Root directory and prevents attaching the instance back. Is it possible to disable that? I do not want to detach permanently.
