Clients should be able to chnage the disk space limit
There is no option for client to change the disk space limit for multiple domains hosted under his account. Only a reseller or Admin can change the disk space limit. This is not good.
1 voteThis is why they are reseller and admin – you need certain level of privileges to perform certain tasks

Create only mail accounts when mail is actually enabled, instead of on domain creation
As soon as any account is created in Plesk, a mail account is setup in Smartermail, used for managing the mail domain. This is one of the few minor issues for those using Plesk in a load balanced solution (which is actually remarkably possible!). It is also tricky for those running a limited smartermail license (e.g. 250 accounts, many of which are now unwanted Plesk management accounts).
It should not be so difficult to setup the mail account only when mail is enabled on a domain, and have Plesk just leave the mail server alone for…

global limit space
For now, you can define an max quota mailbox, number of maibox and max quota hosting in panel. For exemple, if you define, 100M of hdd quota, 100M of mailbox quota and 10 mailbox, the global limit is about 1,1G. We love the idea to put an global space (for exemple 500M) and an page with selector to assign an part max of this space to all component (for exemple, 100M for HDD, 50M for mailbox1, 350M for mailbox2) and have no excess space posible in an suscription (something like this for each component : …

Add Disclaimer to mail footer
Many mail servers have this feature. Please include in plesk possibility to add disclaimer to mail footer on specified domain.
Many Clients ask me how to add Disclaimer to mail footer automatically not from webmail.
240 votesThank you for your input. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases. Note that Plesk supports multiple mail servers and if we are going to add this feature, it’s possible that it won’t be available for all supported mail servers at once

It should be possible to limit other users to a specific domain with full control panel functionality
When a new user is added, it should be possible to limit him to a specific domain rather than having access to all other hosted domains. e.g i am hosting 4 domains on my subscription and i want to create a user with having access to only one domain with full control panel functionality, i should be able to having this control over other users.
87 votesThe roles that you can set for additional user accounts can help achieve many of the aspects that are mentioned in this feature request. Please see the blog article https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/how-to-grant-access-website-secure-way/ for getting started with roles.

Add the ability to limit selection of PHP handlers for customers
We've had a similar suggestion before with insufficient information: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/34209229-add-php-handlers-restriction-per-service-plan
The idea is to be able to limit the number of available PHP handlers for selection at domain PHP settings.
This may be done at Service Plan X > Permissions.
Example: customer will be able to select only FPM server by Nginx.
This will allow the ability for more precise configuration.
Based on the support request.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Change settings for mail autodiscover
Ability to change settings in the mail autodiscover - for example, to set the mail server that will be set in the mail client.
45 votesHi, you can now specify a custom domain name for mail autodiscover in “Tools & Settings” > “Mail Server Settings” since Plesk Obsidian 18.0.23 version (published at January 21st).

Limit the users that can connect to mail
It would be nice to be able to block certain mail users from being able to get to their email account from their mobile device. This is a HIPAA requirement for us.

Add in Plesk Panel an option to automatic assign an IP Address for Mail Service for new Domains
Two IP Addresses added in IP Address pool for Plesk.
Having one IP Address for the new Domain and a different one for Outgoing mail.
Automatically assign the second ip for Mail Service without the need to do it via CLI command.
In this case the first IP (Domain IP) is using he HELO and then second IP (Service Mail Outgoing IP) is just to send emails.

Have some setting to limit days and timeframe of any updates
To have some settings to limit any kind of updates to be installed in the server like:
Day of the week, hour timeframe.
There's such settings in panel.ini but only for Plesk updates. I'm missing the same for System Updates and Hotfixes.11 votesCurrently, only major updates can be scheduled as described in https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377016862103-How-to-manage-date-and-time-for-Plesk-autoupdates- and the forum thread https://talk.plesk.com/threads/update-times.355417/. System package updates and minor updates are not affected.
This feature asks to also provide a setting where sytsem package updates and minor Plesk updates can be scheduled. This is a valid request. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it is popular. Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

mail after successful backup
Currently you get after completing a backup, only one mail, if errors occur. For me it would be helpful to have the option to receive an e-mail even when successful backup.

Limiting inodes for client, reseller, subscription
Hello,
is good idea to limit users files count. This limit will restrict users from generating
thousands of files, makes faster backups creations. Directadmin and cpanel has this feature and it is very usefull for hosting.75 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Postfix preferred ip
Our suggestion is add an UI element to user area, where end user can change preferred outgoing ip for domain - ipv4 or ipv6. Without mail server config hacks from server admins.
10 votesSince Plesk Obsidian 18.0.52, published April 25th, 2023, Plesk sends mail from the domain only via the specific IP address, if a specific IP address version (IPv4 or IPv6) is set for a domain (PPPM-13770).
Please let us know in your comments if this caters your needs or if and what modifications you would like to see.

doublecheck E-Mail default space - after changing the limit generally, no effect on single mailbox. Please change
The default limit for email ist not propagated correctly.
It looks like, but the accounts are still full or too small.
reproduceable for new accounts.2 votesThank you for your input!
Unfortunately, we have to close your request because it has not become quite popular for further implementation over the years.

Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam
Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam
When a mail account has Auto-Reply and Spamassassin enabled, the Auto-Reply function should read the x-spam header and, if the incoming message was found to be spam, the automatic response should not be sent.
At the moment I often see Automatic replies stuck in the outgoing mail queue because they're being sent to spammers. This is silly!

Be able to disable mail forward for customers (to avoid being blacklisted as spam are fowarded)
Regularly I have report of being spamming on a server and often due to users forwarding mails to another server. Being blocked by google due to that while actually you are not spamming with the server is not fun to handle.
So, I would love to be able to block a mail forward or limit it to local domains at max.
11 votesThe request has not become popular for an integration by Plesk, but a third-party extension became available by which the same feature can be achieved: https://ext.plesk.com/packages/ec2b4f20-8bec-4364-9914-7275b4e45398-internalmailforwardingonly#!

Limit what aditional administrators can do
It would be useful to have options for what additional administrators can do within the panel. For example, I run hosting as part of my IT company and normally it's me that does all the work in Panel, however it is often useful to have one of my staff to do some admin tasks but I don't necessarily want that person to be able to perform all tasks such as changing critical server settings.

This functionality was added in Plesk Obsidian RTM release. We suggest you upgrade to the latest version and check it out.

Mail-Only Plesk server
Like DNS only c* servers, Plesk can provide a Mail-Only - Plesk Server. This will help all those who like to distribute server services' load across multiple servers. I'm aware that one can simply install the whole plesk in a separate server and run just mail service alone.
34 votesThis feature request has had a lot of attention from us for a long while. It's been going on and off with good reasons for declining and some reasons to keep it open. However, we see a very limited number of votes through all the years that this topic has been on, even though we had merged similar requests into it to accumulate more votes.
There are still no plans to have a "mail-only" license type, and the functionality can very easily be achieved already by simply spinning up a separate Plesk and only using mail on it, but no websites.
Summing all the pros and cons up and seeing the low number of interest in this feature through the years, at this time it appears best and most transparent to users to decline the request as "already available" - because as a matter of fact: Users can indeed only…
