    Thank you for your input!
Unfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

  2. Extra limitation for mail sending scripts

At the feature "limitations on outgoing email messages" it should be possible, to do a extra limitation for mails sent via scripts. So that i can give a company which is sending newsletter to their customers a big limit for their account but when their website is hacked and a script is placed for sending spam the scripts have their own limitation which is much lower then the whole account

  3. Limit resources per user

As the title says, plesk panel should be able to limit these resources, for example, per system user.

    Resources:
RAM, CPU (%/cores), Maximum Processes per user

    -->including a automatic banning solution

    (cpanel has this functionality)

  4. Delete mail after forwarding

I would like to use an E-Mail address as an outgoing E-Mail address with no postbox behind it. All E-Mails should be forwarded to another E-Mail address.
Currently you can set up forwarding but if you check "Use postbox" than the mails will be kept on the server although they have been forwarded. If you uncheck it, it is impossible to send emails from that address.

So please add at least an option to delete mails after forwarding them.

In Plesk 18.0.37 added the option to automatically remove emails forwarded from a mailbox in Plesk. The feature is disabled by default. To enable it, go to “Mail”, click the desired mailbox, open the “Forwarding” tab and select the “Do not deliver copies of forwarded emails to the Plesk mailbox” checkbox.

If you need this feature for Plesk for Windows, please vote here: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549/suggestions/44158872

  5. Add Firewall rule to block outgoing mail for non-Postfix / non-qmail

    iptables -A OUTPUT -d 127.0.0.1 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --gid-owner postfix -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --gid-owner mailman -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --uid-owner root -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -j REJECT --reject-with icmp-port-unreachable

Would be nice to add this to the Plesk Firewall Module.

This disables malicious scripts of sending direct mail.

Other malicious mails sent through localhost (Postfix…

  7. Track E-mail Sent from System more effectively

Introduce a system to show outgoing mail from the system, outgoing mail queue for domains and e-mail headers sent by domains to make tracking spam and abuse of the system simpler.

Having had a week of tracking down scripts attempting to send etc. Its proved hard to identify which domains within a subscription are offending and from which hosting package. Might be an idea possibly to track back to a script for a domain using the php mail() or by using sendmail features.

  8. Implement incoming email limit

It would be useful to have an "Incoming mail rate limit" field to control the speed of local delivery to mailboxes.

  9. Queue emails over limit in a domain instead of defearring

If you have activated a limit and the limit is reached, all further mails are rejected. It would be good if for these emails to remain in the mail queue and be sent automatically after the set time for the limit has expired.

  12. Limit amount of backups per customer

    Hey guys,

I am sure that I speak for hundreds of users when I say that having a limit on backups per customers and or subscriptions should be an important and available option. The option to also limit backups based on the customers subscription storage size will be even better. Otherwise, customers who overuse the backup option will dramatically increase storage space on the server without realization of the administrator. It wouldn't be ideal for an administrator to enter the dumps folder to delete random customer backups. Really hope you guys can resolve this and add this feature as soon…

  13. Panel log-in limit

There should be settings to limit log-in attempts. For example 5 trys within 10 minutes - width the same Ip-adress.

  15. Resource limit alerts when subscription approaching limit

Currently email alerts are only sent out when a subscription has breached a limit such as drive space utilisation.

Would be good if an alert could be sent out when the limits are being approached for example when a subscription is at 80% space utilisation. This will alert the owner that they need to take action before their site gets suspended.

  17. Add a Page to view history of incoming / outgoing emails

It would be good to have a history page of incoming and outgoing emails with status, clean or spam.
This could be used to fill white- and blacklists and support email-users with infos to missing emails.

I used MailWatch before as history log.

This feature request did not become popular through the years. The usage scenario described in the comments is not plausible. Limiting by IP address does not have any advantage over limiting by mailbox, domain or subscription. We must decline this request.

  20. Outgoing IPs patch for Qmail - long overdue

Not an original but have been waiting for a Plesk Qmail update to accommodate the most common scenario - servers hosting dozens of outgoing IPs for different clients but generic Qmail only allows one sender in the envelope. Someone created the outgoingips patch to Qmail but that involves patching in latest Plesk changes to Qmail. This is long overdue
